about Neon Blue or Girl, unlockedOn Thursday, Blue continued her research. With a magnifying glass she studied the glossy picture of Jana Andrews. What a beautiful woman. What a shame that she had degenerated and died young. By now Blue had begun to think of the woman in the hospital as Jane Willoughby. Or whatever her real name was. Late in the afternoon, Tomasi called.

"Chief, I'm working this Jane Willoughby angle right now. That's my gut. I hope you'll let me stay with that for a while. I want to be here as soon as she comes to."

Blue kept her feelings deeply stored apart in separate boxes, and she made sure the padlocks were tightly locked
